Reviews and Ratings
My recent stay at the Courtyard By Marriott Charleston Historic District was enjoyable overall, although there were a few drawbacks. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to downtown attractions (I loved being able to walk to places like the Aquarium!). While my room was clean and the bed was comfortable, not all aspects felt great. I did find the price a bit high considering the room's condition and some issues with cleanliness at check-in.
I had a mixed experience at Courtyard By Marriott Charleston Historic District. The location was fantastic for exploring the city, and the staff were friendly and attentive. However, the condition of the rooms felt outdated, and I had issues with the cleanliness of the bathroom. Overall, it wasn't the most impressive stay, but the accessibility to attractions was a highlight.
During my stay at the Courtyard By Marriott Charleston Historic District, I appreciated the excellent customer service and clean, spacious room. though the parking fees were a bit steep. The hotel’s location was fantastic, making it easy to explore nearby attractions on foot. I loved the pool area and the overall atmosphere of the hotel, but I was slightly disappointed that the bistro only offered light snacks rather than full meals.
Overall, my stay at the Courtyard By Marriott Charleston Historic District was pleasant, thanks to the really good staff and convenient location. The room was clean and spacious, although I encountered a few maintenance issues that were addressed promptly. However, the breakfast options were a bit underwhelming, and some amenities could use a refresh to enhance the stay further.
I was really looking forward to my stay at the Courtyard By Marriott Charleston Historic District, but it ended up being quite a mixed bag. On one hand, the location is super convenient for exploring historic attractions, but on the other, the check-in process was frustratingly slow, and my room fell short of what I expected for the price. While the staff tried their best to help, the overall experience just didn't hit the mark for me.
